On 17 July, we’re inviting everyone to join us at Learn for Life for an evening of international food, cultural exchange, games and great conversations. Let’s discover the culinary diversity of our community!
Bringing the World to One Table
Taste the World celebrates the diversity of our international community through something everyone enjoys: food.
Every participant brings a small dish, snack or dessert from their home country—whether it’s homemade or bought from a local store. Together, we’ll discover the flavours of this world and connect with people from different backgrounds.
More Than Just Food
Of course, the evening is about more than tasting delicious dishes.
You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to get to know new people while enjoying table tennis, board games and other fun activities. Whether you come with friends or on your own, Taste the World is the perfect place to meet people from across the globe and spend a relaxed summer evening together.
What You Need to Bring
To take part, please bring:
- A small dish, snack or dessert from your country (homemade or store-bought)
- Your own drinks if you’d like (water & soft drinks selling here)
- Your own plate, cup and cutlery to help us reduce waste and keep the event as sustainable as possible ♻️
You can also add a small note next to your dish with its name, country of origin and any important allergy or dietary information. Make the tasting not only delicious but also informative!
